Shipping & Processing Information

How long will it take to process an order?

Generally, orders that are processed with the RUSH option, will ship within 1 - 5 business days, depending on an acceptable photo submission and time of year. This time of year may significantly slow the process of RUSH orders and is highly recommended around key holidays, such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Wedding Season, Graduations and the like.   While we do not guarantee delivery times, we can help to speed your order within our shop.

Orders that are processed without the RUSH option will usually ship within 1 to 2 weeks after purchase (7 to 14 days), dependent on an acceptable photo submission.  Holiday season may affect processing times, which are not the same as delivery times.  Our shop processes the order, aka processing time.  Delivery time is the time it takes for the mail carrier to deliver your package once it is in their possession.

Need it fast? 

We have RUSH ORDER options will place your order toward the front of the process line. This will move your order up in our shop queue, which is dependent on the Holiday season and time of year.  This option is recommended around high-volume Holidays, such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Graduation.

We are Manufactured in America!  All products are made in and shipped from our warehouse shop in Richland, New Jersey. 

What is "ShipAid" Protection Insurance?

We currently offer a very affordable and completely optional shipping protection product on your package through ShipAid.  ShipAid takes the hassle out of lost, stolen, and damaged packages and does all of the leg work for you fast.  The Missing Piece Puzzle Company highly recommends that all of our customers purchase this protection, as it is a great value that can alleviate a lengthy process of tracing and tracking your purchase.

If you do not want to add this optional coverage, please select the "REMOVE" button next to the ShipAid Protection Logo.  It will be removed and you will not be charged for this service. 

We will no longer be able to replace or refund for stolen, lost, damaged, or missing items without this service. This is due to the increase in crime, "porch pirates," and the rise of mishandling that we are seeing from carriers.  Purchasing ShipAid Protection puts it all in their capable and able hands without delay.  Please understand that if your order shows as "Delivered" that we cannot refund your purchase without a police report of theft if you have not purchased this protection. 

If there is an issue with your order and you are making a claim through ShipAid, please send photos to donna@themissingpiecepuzzlecompany.com, along with your order number. With ShipAid Protection, we'll take care of it!  Upon a favorable decision, we will issue store credit for the value of your order.  Please allow up to 7 days for the claim to be processed.

How do you ship?

We only ship USPS. Select your option in Checkout. If you order in bulk we ship via USPS Ground.

Shipping times are generally one to a few business days within the Continental United States, depending on time of year. Please check the shipping times with www.USPS.com, as we mail from New Jersey 08350. Our company is very confident in the USPS system and we have had much success shipping with the USPS.

  • We are not responsible for delivery times, as a delivery time is once the package has left our shop and is in the hands of the carrier.
  • We are also not responsible for lost or damaged packages, and please be sure to include the proper address.
  • Shipping for returned puzzles due to the incorrect addresses is the responsibility of the customer.  Please check your delivery address before placing the order.
  • We reserve the right to ask for additional shipping charges to resend a puzzle that was incorrectly/improperly addressed.

Can I ship my puzzle to another address?

Absolutely. You will be able to ship to another address during the checkout process.  Please enter the proper address, as we are not responsible for lost items due to incorrect addresses.  We will ship to one address per order.

How do I know when you receive my order?

You will receive an automatic email after your order has been placed with your order number and invoice. We require a valid email so that you receive this information and can contact you with any difficulties with your photo submission or order. It's important to note that some email services may screen emails and our confirmation email may go to your SPAM folder. Please add us to your address book to avoid this.

Sales tax

Sales tax is currently collected for orders shipped to New Jersey at 6.625%.

 

International Shipping & Custom Information

International Shipping & Returns/Refunds

International orders, we ship USPS First Class International Mail without tracking. Please feel free to ask questions prior to ordering, as we do not accept returns on items.

  • We collect postage that simply covers our cost of shipping and handling from the United States via USPS First Class International Mail.
  • We DO NOT collect for any other duties or fees. All customs duty fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or tariffs could be applied to your package at the discretion of your local customs officers or post office and we have absolutely no control over this, nor do we know how much will be collected from you.
  • We also do not have any control over customs or the packages that they may randomly inspect, and cannot guarantee that your puzzle will or will not be subject to searches through customs. We can tell you that our puzzles that we ship no more likely to be inspected than any other package.
  • We do not accept forced returns.

Please feel free to ask questions prior to ordering, as we do not accept returns on any items. It is important to note that undeliverable packages or packages that go unclaimed by the customer will not be refunded. We reserve the right to charge for additional shipping should your package return to us. We also reserve the right to refuse returns. Any package sent back to us without express written permission will result in it being treated as abandoned property.

Return & Refund Information

Return & Refund Policy

Due to the personalized nature of our business and our products, we do not accept returns on any of our Puzzle items. Simply stated, we cannot resell your family photographs! Please be sure to adhere to the requirements of photo uploads and email us prior to ordering.

Blank White Puzzles for special events and each puzzle is made at the time of order. We cannot re-shelve these puzzles and do not accept returns. Once the puzzle leaves our facility it is rendered as a USED item and will not be accepted for return or exchange. Please be sure to review all information prior to ordering.
